Top Load Washer - White I bought this washer after researching and looking at consumer reviews both on CR and other websites online. My old front load washer died after 10+ years, so I decided to go back to top loaders. I didn't want to deal with the mold issues anymore. People say to leave the door open for 30 minutes after each wash, but since my washer is behind double doors right in the hallway, this is not possible to do.
This LG washer is perfect. It is a top loader, but without the agitator in the middle, it gives me the capacity of front loaders. I was surprised at how much it can do in one wash! It can fit 1.5 times the load of my previous washer and fills the laundry basket to the top.
Although the CR reviews for this washer is rated not as high as some of the other washers, the user reviews for this and the similar lower priced 5001 model was very good.
